About Tesedona Foundation

We believe that the health and welfare of animals are inextricably linked to the wellbeing of people and communities. We therefore work to improve the health of animals so that livestock producers can have a good return on their investment from highly productive animals, consumption of wholesome animal products by the public, wellbeing of pet owners as a result of healthy and fit companion animals and the safety of those who handle and treat animals enhanced.

This we will accomplish through awareness creation, support for human capital and policy development, research and employment of new technologies for the promotion of animal health.

Our Mission 

 To work towards improving animal health so as to safeguard livelihoods, food safety and public health through effective service delivery, capacity development of professionals and producers, innovation and good governance.

Board of Trustees

– The Foundation’s Board of Trustees (BOT) is its top decision-making body, and it is responsible for making decisions on important affairs related to the operation of the Foundation and its main activities. It is composed of a maximum of nine members including the Foundation’s president and the permanent and non-permanent directors.
– The BOT is composed of 7 members whose expertise spans the fields of private and public veterinary practice, academia, human health and communication.The BOT comprises the Chairman of the Board and the Chief Executive Officer who takes charge of the daily activities of the foundation.
